ISLAMABAD, April 24 (EPI) : Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Dr. Tariq Saleem has announced the launch of a province-wide membership and public relations campaign starting from April 25, aimed at expanding the party\u2019s grassroots network across Punjab.<\/p>\n
He expressed these views while addressing members at the Ijtima of Jamaat-e-Islami District Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, Syed Arif Shirazi and Usman Akash also addressed the gathering. Dr. Tariq Saleem said that through this campaign, Jamaat-e-Islami will reach every city, town, and village of Punjab to enroll new members and strengthen its organizational structure.<\/p>\n
He added that participants will also be mobilized for the nationwide \u201cBaddel Do Nizam\u201d (Change the System) movement, which is planned to be launched after Eid.<\/p>\n
He stressed that the public must unite with Jamaat-e-Islami to end what he described as the monopoly of capitalists, landlords, and corrupt mafias, as well as to eliminate the interest-based economic system.<\/p>\n
According to him, meaningful progress in Pakistan is not possible without replacing the current system, which he termed exploitative and unjust. Dr. Tariq Saleem said that while the privileged class continues to enjoy luxuries, ordinary citizens are facing severe economic challenges, including rising inflation, heavy taxation, and prolonged load-shedding.<\/p>\n
He said that under such conditions, the current system has become incompatible with the welfare of the people. Appealing particularly to the youth, he urged them to actively join the movement for change and become part of efforts to transform the system.<\/p>\n
He directed party workers to take the message of Jamaat-e-Islami to every street and neighborhood, enroll maximum members, and establish public committees at the local level. Dr. Tariq Saleem concluded by announcing that a large-scale movement will be launched after Eid, emphasizing that Jamaat-e-Islami\u2019s doors are open to all individuals who seek a system based on justice, fairness, and accountability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
