ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (EPI);\u00a0 The Supreme Court of Pakistan has disposed of 224 cases (excluding CMAs) during the period from 2nd October 2023 (Monday) to 6th October, 2023 (Friday) whereas 312 new cases have been instituted during the period from
\n2nd October 2023 (Monday) to 7th October 2023 (Saturday).<\/p>\n

According to a press release issued by spokespersons Shahid Hussain Kamboyo\u00a0 the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the\u00a0 Judges of Supreme Court remained committed to accelerate disposal of the cases and diminish the backlog.<\/p>\n

Judges continued to hear the cases with the aim to minimize the backlog and provide relief to the litigants, press release says.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning here that\u00a0 there are more than 56548 pending cases in apex court of country.<\/p>\n
