Al-Khidmat Raazi Hospital, Rawalpindi achieves another milestone

RAWALPINDI, Aug 08 (EPI): Al-Khidmat Raazi Hospital, Rawalpindi has achieved another milestone as Department of Urology has completed 1,000 consecutive PCNL (kidney stone) procedures in just 18 months.

According to a statement issued on Saturday that a major achievement for centre is that the safety record shows that:

🔹 Under 1% major complication rate
🔹 Just 2% transfusion rate
🔹 Hospital stay under 24 hours
🔹 Only 6% redo PCNL/ESWL rate
🔹 Patients treated across all ages — 3 to 80 years

according to a statement more than 99% of these 1,000 surgeries went smoothly with no major complication — a result of skilled hands, experienced teams and careful technique.
