ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (EPI) : A delegation from the General Secretariat of the Ombudsperson of Bahrain visited the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) to learn and exchange information about how both secretariats work.

This week-long study visit has been an incredible opportunity to share best practices in ombudsmanship and forge stronger inter-institutional ties.
During the visit, FOSPAH’s team shared vital insights into:
1️. FOSPAH’s comprehensive harassment complaint mechanism, which ensures a confidential, victim-centered approach to addressing complaints and providing swift justice.
2️. Our proactive initiatives for gender equality, focusing on empowering women, protecting their legal rights—especially in inheritance and property matters—and ensuring their full participation in the workplace.
3️. Educating and collaborating with organizations to foster safer, harassment-free environments that are more inclusive and respectful for all employees, particularly women.
The Bahrain Ombudsman, part of the General Secretariat, plays a critical role in ensuring justice by investigating complaints related to human rights violations and misconduct within law enforcement agencies.
