IHC fixes Imran khan’s plea for suspension of Toshakhana case verdict
ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (Abid Ali Arain): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s application seeking suspension of Trail court verdict in Toshakhana case.
IHC has fixed application along with appeal against registrar office objection before two member division bench comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Babar Sattar.
Division bench would take up the applications on Monday October 09, 2023.
It is worth mentioning here that institution branch of IHC has raised three objections.
How can two different prayers be raised in same petition?
How petitioner can seek relief once and again in a case in which he has already taken remedy?
If petitioner had not sought remedy in main petition than how he can claim for the same again, third objection adds.
It is worth mentioning here that IHC had suspended PTI chief sentence in Toshakhana case but now PTI lawyers have approached for suspension of the trail court verdict on which bases Election Commission has started disqualification process of Imran Khan.
