SCBAP strongly condemns brutal Israeli aggression against the people of Palestine

ISLAMABAD, Oct 18 (EPI): Barrister Abid S Zuberi, President Muqtedir Akhtar Shabbir and the 25th Executive Committee of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan(SCBAP), strongly condemns the brutal Israeli aggression against the people of Palestine. They said that we are deeply concerned about the ongoing grave human rights violations and war crimes being committed against innocent civilians in Gaza and the wider Palestinian territories.

In order to show our unwavering support and solidarity with the people of Palestine, SCBAP will hold a peaceful protest tomorrow at 11:00AM, in font of Supreme Court of Pakistan Building Constitution Avenue, Islamabad.

The President SCBAP has also extended his call to all High Courts as well as District Bar Associations across Pakistan to join us in observing peaceful protests in their respective Bar Associations so as to send a strong message of solidarity and condemnation of the injustices being inflicted upon the people of Palestine.

This peaceful protest will showcase our collective expression of our outrage against the unjust actions that have caused immense suffering to the Palestinian people. We call upon the international community and Muslim world, particularly the government of Pakistan to stand up against these violations of human rights and to support Palestine both financial and militarily, till the repartition of Palestine and Masjid-Al-Aqsa for just and lasting solution for the Palestinian cause.
